This page is to honor one of my all time favorite bands...
In 1997 I visited my friend, Eric Beauchemin, who was a Manager at Spec’s music at the time, it was there when he gave me a promo copy of their sophomore album, Sevendust! He said I’d like it since the producers of the band were members of Twisted Sister. I was apprehensive because metal in the 90’s was really horrible, however, I kindly thanked him for it, took the CD home and put it on the shelf. A few weeks later I decided to play it anyway, so I put the disc in the CD player, hit the play button, and as soon as the music started for the opening track, “Black”, I was floored!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!
A few weeks later I went on vacation to New Jersey where I visited a local record store in Westfield, whom a good friend owned the store. They told me Henry Rollins was playing at the Birch Hill that night and asked me if I was going. Although I wasn’t planning on it, he informed me that the opening band was Sevendust. I was shocked and excited to hear that, so I changed my plans and decided to go to the show.
Once I was at the concert venue, Sevendust took the stage and it was a phenomenal concert! Lajon (the lead singer) told the crowd that their debut album would be released in 2 days, and since I’ve been playing their album basically non stop before anyone else knew the songs, I sang along to every song in the front row! After the show the band invited me backstage since they recognized me. They signed my CD, took a group picture, and the rest is history…

This is the first night I ever saw Sevendust live at the Birch Hill in Old Bridge, New Jersey on April 13th, 1997. I was invited backstage, and according to the band, they told me I was their very first fan to get their debut album fully autographed, as well as a group photo taken with them.

Sevendust released their 10th studio album (which is all acoustic recordings), and it was released on the 17th anniversary of their debut album which was also released on April 15th of 1997. With a little help, I made the Thank You List!

Me and my sister, Denise, went on a mini vacation to Nashville, Tennessee to see the Animosity, 21st Anniversary show.
As we walked around downtown before the concert, we bumped into Lajon! How lucky were we?

Attended the Sevendust Listening Party at The Abbey in downtown Orlando, for their new album "Truth Killer" to be released on July 28th, 2023. I showed them our original photo from 1997 and we recreated the photo (especially Clint!).

My 50th Sevendust show! This was the concert that took me 27 years to get to. On Friday night, the 2nd of February, on a cool chilly evening at the Orlando Amphitheater Pavilion, I finally saw Sevendust perform one of their heaviest sets to date, which culminated in my 50th time seeing them play live. It was a wonderful show, and one I will always remember. Here are some professional pictures taken by "All Music Magazine" and a fans full length video of the entire show. 7D50!!!
