Overnight at Looc Beach, Bagac, Bataan | iamjoyceyvonne

"Let's find a beautiful place and let's get lost together!" ☻

Because it was a looong weekend and we have an OJT this summer, we decided to color one of our drawings.... BEACH!!! We made it Sunday to Monday because one of my classmates couldn't make it on Saturday.

We met in Cubao Bus Terminal at 5:00 am. The bus left the terminal by 6:30am.

We took a bus (Bataan Transit) going to Balanga, then took a mini bus in Balanga Terminal going to Bagac. After that we took a tricycle going to the beach.. but not in the exact beach. We walked 1 km to get to the said beach. Kuyang driver gave us 2 options on how to get to Looc Beach. 1st: since we were just four,  two persons per tricycle, so we should hire two tricycles for us to accommodate. Why two persons per tric? Because the way going to Looc Beach is no joke. The road is too narrow and difficult to pass through. Aaaand the fare is P150 per tric so that's P300. Buuut the good side of this option, it was already near to the beach; and the 2nd option, one tric could accommodate all of us (using other route) but the driver couldn't get us near the beach so we need to walk 1 km for us to reach the beach. We picked the 2nd option because we were on budget.

Anyway after the loooong journey and walk... tenen!!! *sorry for the sounds effect*

Since, we were staying overnight, we pitched our tent and paid P300 for the two tents. The caretaker (on that particular place where our tents were pitched) were so kind!! They insisted us to use their grill for free and to use their utensils.

The 2nd day, we wanted to try island hopping but unfortunately we were just four, the boat can accommodate upto twelve pax, so we looked for eight more persons for less sharing. After searching, we made it!! So after eating lunch, we decided to go island hopping for us to go home early.

We rode boat for 15 minutes to get to the island, called "Sugong Cave"

When we got there, the bangkero told us they would be back after 3 hours.
As you can see on the last picture, there are many boats, so it means, it was crowded that time. Maybe because it was Labor Day when we went there, hehe.

So anyway, there was a mini store in that island. We left our things there to enjoy the island (it explains why I don't have any pictures in the actual Sugong Cave). There was a cliff for cliff jumping, the cliff was a bit crowded, but easy to jump because most people up there were scared to jump in 20ft high above sea level. The water is clear that you could see stones underneath, it's like greenish, or blueish.

There's a fee worth 100 pesos (per boat) in Sugong Cave.

Going back to Looc Beach, the bangkero asked us if we wanted to go on the other beach that we passed through, it was not crowded, and it has swing on the beach. We want the offer but our companions didn't. :( so we just go back in our tent and had a rest before going back to Manila.

The caretaker told us that there were buses already on the highway, so don't need to take tric going to Terminal like what we did on our first day.

So here's the expenses:
