Games and activities in class
Dare desu ka?
Before the game begins, check that all the Ss know what question needs to be asked in order to get the answers on their grid. Ie. テレビをみることがすきですか。Ss then mingle around the class and find someone who matches the answer. If they find a person in the class they then write that student's name on the line in the appropriate box. Once someone has 3 across, the Ss then writes their name on the board. When there are 3 names on the board the Tt stops the game. The Ss with their name on the board first reads the 3 sentences and the Tt checks that it is correct. If correct that Ss can win a prize. OR: Rather than finding 3 people in a horrizontal line across, the Tt could specify for Ss to find 3 diagonally or a T shape, or a cross shape, or all 9 squares. Created by I Foley |

Hobbies bingo
Students circulate around the classroom asking each other whether they often do the various activities illustrated. If they get a 'yes' answer, they write that student's name in the brackets or get him/her to sign. The first student to get four names in a row (horizontally, vertically, diagonally) is the winner. http://activity-resources.jpf-sydney.org/ar/ar_03/act3/3_1.htm |
