Finding the Median

The median is the middle number in the data points. In order to find the median, you first have to arrange all your data from smallest to largest number. Once you have done this, find the number in the middle. One of the easiest ways to do this is by crossing off one number from each end. Sometimes there isn't a middle number so to find the median you must take the mean of both numbers. Here is a visual to make more sense of this concept.
