Found in Costa Rica and Panama in pluvial forests at elevations of 800 to 1200 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with superposed, thick-fusiform apically stems carrying 2, elliptic-ovate, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a terminal, racemose, peduncle to .24" [6 mm] long, 1 to few flowered inflorescence.
