Chicago dudes Twin Peaks give us Walk To The One You Love

The boot scooting hoedown comes just before the release of their third studio album.

I’ve been dying to write about Twin Peaks for a long time now. The Chicago band have been making waves in the US for several years, touring off the back of their two previously released albums, sharing their unique brand of classic rock & roll throwback jams and feel good vibes in wild live performances.

They’ve just announced their new album, Down In Heaven (out in May) and shared the opening track, Walk To The One You Love. It’s a boot scooting hoedown with 60s harmonies and some killer solos. WTTOYL is definitely a departure from the sound established on previous albums Sunken and Wild Onion, but they are still pulling from the rich depths of classic rock history to deliver something familiar yet refreshing.

Making Breakfast, a highlight from their second album, is one of those songs that you fall in love with instantly, transcending taste and mood to put a smile on your face without fail. And if Walk To The One You Love is any indication, it looks like these Chicago dudes are more than happy to continue that trend on the upcoming album.
