Cauliflower, similary as other Brassicaceae species, is a good source of glucosinolates - substances with antioxidant properties.

Botanical description and occurrence:

Cultivar 'Graffiti F1' is the most suitable for summer growing but it can be grown in spring too. The duration of vegetation period is 75-80 days from planting. This variety has a good heat tolerance. Cauliflower is cool-season crop belonged to Brassicaceae family. It requires a middle-heavy soil, sufficient nutrient supply (mainly nitrogen) and irrigation (2-3 times per week) during vegetation period. Spacing suitable for growing of later cauliflower cultivars (including cv. Veronica F1) is 0.5x0.5 m.

Florets of cauliflower cultivar 'Graffiti F1' have the purple colour and delicious taste. It is perfect for adding colour to any summer or autumn dish. The colourful florets are attractive served raw with dip or as a cooked vegetable.
