The
many shades of Pramod Mittal
“I am an entrepreneur and I will take risks.”
These words were spoken by Pramod Mittal, the steel magnate and the brainchild behind the renowned Ispat Industries. These words also describe and characterise his personality. Never known to get bogged down by hard circumstances, the 53-year-old man believes life, if not live through the rush of the adrenaline, is not an interesting life. The man, who many say lived in the shadow of his illustrious brother, Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, is a force to reckon with. That he is not a newsmaker on a regular basis is an exercise by choice. After all, not all celebrated industrialists live a life in the limelight.
Quietly pursuing his dreams, Pramod Mittal has experienced myriad shades of life. He has won and lost, smiled and shed a few tears, rejoiced and experienced sorrow. In crux, he has always dreamt big and has taken the consequence in his stride.
