Spearman is a city in and the county seat of Hansford County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,368 at the 2010 census.

The city was platted in 1917 in anticipation of construction of the North Texas and Santa Fe Railway, and was named after Thomas E. Spearman, vice president of the railway. The city was incorporated in 1921 and drew population away from Hansford, Texas located six miles west. Hansford would eventually lose the election for county seat to Spearman in 1929.

Spearman's economy is mostly dependent on the oil and agricultural industries. Consequently, most of the town's growth occured during the oil and gas boom of the 1950s. The city reached it's maximum population of 4,000 in 1964.

Main attractions of the city include the J.B. Buchanan Windmill Park and the Stationmaster's House Museum.
