Limonium tetragonum / Hamasaji ハマサジ

Limonium tetragonum is a biennial herb inhabiting sandy soil at the seashores. Leaves are thick, long-oblong-like, spoon-shaped, tapering off to the bases, spread out in a rosette way. A few flower stalks emerge from the center of the rosette-like masses, making an excellent branching on the way, and bear panicle-like inflorescences with yellow flowers. The corollas, yellow, are deeply cleft in 5 segments. The seals are tubular and white. Bloom time: September-November.
