On April 18th the new EDGUY album "SPACE POLICE - DEFENDERS OF THE CROWN" will be released. It will be available as CD, vinyl, a limited 2CD-Digibook and a luxury 2CD-Earbook-Edition featuring a hard cover book with the band's history (click on the advertisement on the left to see details). "Metal Underground" considers the album to be the "unwitting hit of 2014" and states that the album has better songs and more infectious melodies than any of the other Edguy albums combined".

…EDGUY played their first ever show in China. On the 24th of March 2006 EDGUY sold out Red Hall in Beijing, China, having been one of the first German Rock bands to ever play China.

On April 18th the new Edguy album "SPACE POLICE - DEFENDERS OF THE CROWN" will hit the stores (UK: April 21st, US: April 28th). Now Edguy have been confirmed to perform during the walk-in of world champion Arthur Abraham who's gonna be having a boxing fight with Nikola Sjekloca at the Velodrom in Berlin on May 3rd. Edguy will perform their brand new song "LOVE TYGER" taken from the forthcoming new album. Match and performance will be broadcast live on German television, on the national channel ARD.
