Dudleya blochmaniae insularis Rare island endemic: $77.35
Dudleya blochmaniae ssp. insularis, one of theHasseanthus group of Dudleya, a small band of tuberous dudleyas from SouthernCalifornia and NW Baja California. They are small, deciduous and well suited tocontainer cultivation. D. b. ssp. insularis is restricted to Santa Rosa Island. It is one of the more attractive Hasseanthus because of its compact growthhabit and glaucous foliage, and large white flowers. Flowers appear in latespring as the plant is going dormant. In my experience it is fairly long livedin a pot—up to ten years or more. Grow in bright light with cool nights(40-60F) in winter and a dry summer rest. Some shade is ok. Sale plant = photos 2-3.
