Epiphytic, erect, slender, 20-25 cm high. Rhizome short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs closely spaced, stem-like, somewhat swollen at the base, somewhat laterally compressed towards the apex, 1-leaved, 2-3 cm long, at the base c. 0.4 cm diam. Leaf erect or suberect, linear, acute or apiculate, somewhat narrowed towards the base, glabrous, 12-15 cm long, near the middle 0.4-0.6 cm wide. Inflorescence erect, slender, ancipitous, without peduncle-scales, glabrous, somewhat longer than the leaf; rachis densely 20-25-flowered, distichous, up to 2.5 cm long. Floral bracts erect-patent, ovate, acute, ancipitous-conduplicate, half as long as the pedicellate, ovary. Flowers erect-patent, glabrous. Sepals reflexed, oblong, acute or apiculate, almost 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals erect, subfalcate-oblique, spathulate-linear, obtuse, somewhat shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base auriculate-cordate, broadly oblong, as long as the petals, above the base hardly 0.23 cm wide, geniculate-decurved, in apical half gradually somewhat narrowed, oblong, apiculate, glabrous, at the base inside with a large, suborbicular callus, in front of this with two small oblique calli. Column in outline suborbicular, somewhat contracted at the apex, about half as long as the petals, glabrous. Anther suborbicular, glabrous. Ovary and pedicel glabrous, 0.7 cm long.
