Found in Papua New Guinea in forests in humus at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with filiform, erect, elongate, flexuous, puberulous, ovate to broadly ovate, acute, narrowing below into the vaginate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, to 7" [to 17.5 cm] long, laxly 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, elliptic, acuminate, glandular-puberulous, slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.
