Common Name The Anamalais Hills Oberonia [Indian mountain range in the southern portion of the western Ghats]

Found in southern India at elevations of 950 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, mostly erect epiphyte with a fan of tan-brown, oblong, acute, articulate basally leaves that blooms in the winter through early spring on an adnate to the upper leaf, peduncle to 2.8" [7 cm] long, flattened, rachis to 16" [40 cm] long, erect, many flowered inflorescence with oblong, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow brown flowers, held in close whorls.
