Malva alcea 'Fastigiata'

Malva 'Fastigiata' Hollyhock Mallow

Common Name: Hollyhock Mallow

One tough perennial! Masses of soft pink, 2" wide, bowl-shaped flowers are borne on tall spikes from late spring thru summer. This variety has ascending branches with a neater outline than the species.

Heat and drought are not a problem for Malva. Though it is sometimes short-lived, it will self-seed readily assuring years of blooms.
