Characteristics:

It can hardly be mistaken for any other sea slug in Norwegian waters. It is quite small, the length does not exceed 2 cm. The body is white. A number of yellow-tipped processes are surrounding the mantle. The processes at the front are directed horizontally rather then upwards and have rougher surface than the others. Three small gills are positioned approximately one fourth of the body length from the posterior end.

Habitat:

It usually seen in the subtidal zone, on kelp, feeding on encrusting bryozoans.

Distribution:

This nudibranch can be found along the coasts of Europe, from the Mediterranean to Norway, including the British Isles.
