CHURCH FARM RULES FOR KLONDIKE DERBY

The use of the Church Farm for the Klondike Derby is a Privilege for us and we want to respect that by keeping it clean and undamaged so we can continue using it for the Derby in the future.  We don’t want to burden the employees and missionaries, by them cleaning up after us and paying for things we damage. The Church Farm is a dedicated property to provide welfare needs to the Church. Please keep this in mind and respect it as such.

1. - NO on ground fires.  All fires must be at least 12 inches off the ground, no exceptions, to protect the      crop under it

2. - NO dumping of fire ash and debris including partially burnt wood.  TAKE IT WITH YOU

3. - Please keep off the equipment, pipe, fuel tanks, cellar, grain bins and buildings including antique farm machinery, and avoid the farm animals.

4. - Please don’t destroy the trees or shrubbery around the yard, campground, or on top of the hill. They are expensive to replace

5. - Please don’t take any tools out of the shop. If you need something, ask one of the farm managers

6. - Take all garbage with you when you leave

7. - Please clean up your campsite, activity areas, and surrounding areas before leaving. You are camping on cropland, and things left behind can damage farm machinery in the spring

8. - Please be aware of where your scouts are at all times as to respect other troops and staff and minimize property damage and conflicts with others

9. - Please avoid the area around the house.  The Farm Managers family lives there, and are not involved in the Derby. Please respect their privacy

Extra points may be earned by participating in certain Scout Skill Stations and in the Sled Race.

!!!!!PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE HIGHEST SCORES AND CLEANEST CAMPS!!!!!
