Allogalathea babai Cabezas, Macpherson & Machordom, 2011

This anomuran crab lives in association with various crinoids (feather stars). It varies in color, usually matching pretty well the color of its host. It is possible that some of the color variants might belong to Allogalathea elegans.

Two crabs below are in a typical position, tucked between the crinoid's arms and cirri, the latter used to grasp the substrate.

This appears tobe a darker form.
