New Testament Greek Master Pack 4+

If you are studying New Testament Greek, and having trouble learning it, or getting him motivated to learn it this is the perfect thing for you. It is very useful my only dislike is that I wish I could make a custom word list in FlashGreek.

I just bought this bundle and was promptly disappointed in the FlashGreek Pro app. Half of the Greek words did not have an accompanying sound file, which is really disappointing, since I need help in correctly pronouncing the Greek words. Some of the words were well done, with clever drawings below to help memorize the meaning of the word, but this was not consistent. It appears to me that the developer started with a good idea for this project but for whatever reasons did not carry it out to completion across all the Greek words in the database. Too bad.

So if you are looking for an app which has audio pronunciations assigned to every Greek word, do NOT purchase FlashGreek Pro. But if you don’t care about the sound and just want the visual reinforcement of flash cards, I guess it would be okay.

If you, like me, are in seminary and shelling out big bucks to learn Koine Greek, BUY THIS BUNDLE! It will save you time, optimize your ability to study, and make your Greek course a joy rather than a chore. I have left individual reviews on both ParseGreek and FlashGreek, so feel free to read those. In each, I say the app is essential, and I mean it. This bundle is a handy way to get both.

Concerning the complaint about audio files in FlashGreek: most of the vocabulary for the grammar books includes audio files, so by the time you finish a Greek grammar, you should have enough of a foundation to figure out the Erasmian pronunciation for any word. Besides, no one knows how the words were truly pronounced. The most important thing is that you are consistent in pronouncing a word. So don't let that deter you.
