Cantherhines sandwichiensis – Sandwich Isle File

Cantherhines sandwichiensis is described in 1824 by Quoy and Gaimard.

Description

Cantherhines sandwichiensis can reach a maximum total length of about 19 centimeters. They have a brown body with sometimes a purple/blue glow. The fins are yellow.

Origin

The habitat of Cantherhines sandwichiensis is in the east central part of the Pacific Ocean. They are found around Hawaii, Polynesia, and Tahiti.
