The BlackBerry Storm 2 looks just like the original Storm. You can't see the biggest change, which is its new touchscreen.

The Storm 2 has a very bright, very sharp screen that is excellent for displaying pictures and video.

The new BlackBerry OS 5.0 brings some subtle new features to the Storm, such as this "roller" selector for choosing numbers.

Like on the Storm 1, you get a choice of two touch keyboards on the BlackBerry Storm 2. This one uses SureType predictive text to complete your words.

The wide touch keyboard is much, much, much more accurate than the original BlackBerry Storm's.

BlackBerry OS 5.0 brings threaded text messaging to the Storm, including the ability to insert emoticons.

BlackBerry App World holds pride of place on this Storm 2; hopefully this model won't go through the same third-party app compatibility problems the original Storm had.

Open up the Storm 2, and you can see the four electrical actuators that create the phone's unique haptic effect.
