We are a data infrastructure for the social science community in Austria and offer a variety of research support services, primarily data archiving and help with data re-use. We make social science data accessible, creating opportunities for research and data reuse. Since July 2020, we have been certified with the Core Trust Seal (CTS) as a "trustworthy data repository".

This year, the CESSDA Experts Seminar was held at the University of Essex. CESSDA's partners were invited to discuss access conditions and the important role of automation. Using pyDataverse, Stefan Kasberger showcased AUSSDA's expertise in the development of tools.

From 17-20 September 2019, this year's ÖFEB Congress took place at the University College of Teacher Education Upper Austria in Linz. Under the slogan "Vermessen?", the event focused on research data and evidence. AUSSDA's contribution dealt with the compatibility of Open Data and data protection.

As project manager and co-initiator, the sociologist Max Haller has accompanied the Social Survey Austria (SSÖ) from the very beginning. As part of a collaboration between the University of Vienna and the University LUISS in Rome, Carolina Plescia conducted a pre- and post-election panel study on the Austrian national election 2017. The study focussed on the parties' agenda setting.
