Mary Carey, former adult film and reality TV star, is calling an unhappy ending to her campaign for governor of California.

Playing on her former profession, Carey referred to her run for governor as her MILF campaign, which stands for Moderates and Independents for Liberation and Freedom, a grassroots movement to represent those that fall in between the right and left extremists.

Carey blamed "Newsom’s cronies" of forcing multiple early deadlines making it impractical to get all the requirements in place in the time frame dictated.

Obviously, a play to keep Newsom on top and the rest of us on the bottom.

Carey has been splitting her time between California and Florida and has decided to make Florida her permanent residence.

Even though she has ended her run for governor, she says she plans to continue to push for a fair tax system, help for the mentally ill and assistance for small businesses hurt by the "sadomasochistic COVID quarantine" in places like California.

Carey says she is not giving up on politics and plans to be open to future proposals, "decent or otherwise."

Mary quipped with a sad emoji:

California I am outa here!!! Good luck with that!!!
