Three-spot Dascyllus

Dascyllus trimaculatus

Can change its colouration in a matter of seconds from light grey or black-brown.

Size : 14 cm

Habitat : In rock and coral reefs, 1-30 m. Usually in small groups. Juveniles often in the host anemone of anemone fish, and like these, are not stung.

Distribution : Red Sea, East Africa to S Japan, Line Islands and Pitcairn.
