Linda Belcher (Democratic Party) was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 49. Belcher assumed office in 2018. Belcher left office on December 31, 2018.

Belcher (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 49. Belcher won in the special general election on February 20, 2018.

Belcher also ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 49. Belcher lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Belcher previously represented the Kentucky House of Representatives District 49 from 2015 to 2017 and from 2009 to 2013.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Linda Howlett Belcher defeated Jonathan Cacciatore in the Democratic primary, while Michael J. Nemes ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Belcher defeated Nemes in the general election.[6][7][8]

On November 4, 2008, Belcher was elected to the 49th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating Trina Summers (R).[14] Belcher raised $30,121 for her campaign, while Summers raised $23,003.[15]
