The CB750F appeared in 1979, 10 years after the introduction of its predecessor, the CB750 Four, which was the world's first mass-produced four-cylinder motorcycle. The CB750F was so popular that 11,841 units of this large bike were sold in Japan in 1981. It is also known as the favourite motorcycle of Gun Koma, the main character of the popular motorcycle manga called Bari Bari Densetsu (Vroom Vroom Legend).

While the rival Kawasaki Z1/Z2 are already considered national treasures, the CB750F is still a significant bike in Japanese motorcycle history as it is the second generation of the 4-cylinder CB motorcycles. Although many were produced, the number of decent examples is constantly decreasing, and prices are rising accordingly. Since the appearance of the 2020 CB-F concept, CB750Fs have attracted more attention, and prices are expected to continue to rise.

This example is the CB750F Bol d’Or 2, limited to 150 units to commemorate the victory at the 1981 Suzuka 8 Hours race. According to the owner, it is completely original and has been carefully stored in a warehouse. The paint on the handlebars and on the mirrors have deteriorated, and there are scratches on the back of the muffler. There are no major scratches, the seat and lights, and the motorcycle is in great original condition. The engine is also in immaculate condition, which shows this bike was stored in a great facility.. This CB750F Bol d’Or 2 is one of the rarest models in the popular CB750 series with only 150 units ever made, which is a must-have for those who appreciate limited edition bikes.
