Alexander Borisovich Raskin (1914 - 1971) was a Russian Soviet writer, satirist, screenwriter. He graduated from the Maxim-Gorky Literature Institute in 1938 and lived and worked in Moscow. In the 1940s, he worked for the Krokodil magazine. He worked with Moris Slobodskoy on the screenplay of the 1947 film Spring, directed by Grigori Aleksandrov. (Best Screenplay, Venice Film Festival 1947 ).
Lev Tokmakov (1928 - 2010) was a Soviet artist and illustrator. He illustrated almost 300 children's books including Katya in Toy City (1973), Moldavian folk songs (1987), How ant hurried home (1967, and many more.
