KONKHRA Preparing To Record Five New Songs

January 13, 2011

Danish extreme metallers KONKHRA are preparing to enter the studio to start tracking drums for five new songs:

* Bow To Moloch
* I Am Ra
* Divine Wind
* Blood Reign
* Suffer The Race

Commented guitarist/vocalist Anders Lundemark: "[I] can't wait to get this stuff out."

KONKHRA's sixth album, "Nothing Is Sacred", was released in December 2008 in Denmark and in February 2009 in the rest of the world via Target Distribution. The CD featured a guest appearance by James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY) on lead guitar. Murphy was however, not able to tour, so the band joined forces with 21-year-old guitarist Michael Skovbakke, who is said to be capable of delivering and interpreting leads from the entire KONKHRA career.

"Religion is a Whore", the latest video from KONKHRA (from 2008's "Nothing Is Sacred"),can be viewed below (produced by Anders Koch).
