LITTLE VILLAGE — Alternative Latino music festival Ruido Fest will return to the Southwest Side this year in a new venue.

Ruido Fest is noon-10 p.m. Aug. 19-20 at the Chicagoland Fairgrounds, 2801 S. Washtenaw Ave., in Little Village. The event was previously held at Union Park on the Near West Side.

Tickets are on sale now. Kids 14 and younger can enter for free with a paying adult.

A one-day general admission ticket is $99.98 with an additional $13.13 service fee. A weekend general admission ticket is $179.98 with a $23.62 service fee.

A one-day general admission VIP ticket, which includes a dedicated entrance and access to air-conditioned bathrooms, is $149.98 with a $17.42 service fee. A weekend general admission VIP ticket is $269.98 with a $28.65 service fee.

A one-day Ultra ticket — which includes a viewing area near the front of the stage, a lounge, a bar in a special lounge and other amenities — is $299.98 with a $17.70 service fee. A weekend Ultra ticket costs $554.98 with a $29.75 service fee.

Tickets are not transferrable, but a verified resale site will be launched this summer, according to the festival’s website.

Parking will be available at nearby lots for $10 on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to the festival’s website.
