UI and UX at a glance
The important role of UX is how it helps you to make a product that can meet users’ needs. It’s how you could create something that makes user reach their goals easily, quickly, efficiently by using less effort and more satisfaction.
An example: UX is like how you ride a bicycle to get somewhere you want to.
The design of a bicycle like its frame’s color, typography stickers, and accessories to embellish its appearance is just like the UI of an application. It’s something that can attract you from the first look.
So how about the UX? UX might not be something that can attract you from the first look since you can’t see it. If you are a biker, you definitely know. But if you’re not, then I’ll give you know simply.
The frame of a bicycle is one of the most important components. The shape will explain to you what is this bicycle for? Mountain? Touring or maybe road bike? The materials of the frame also give different feels of a bicycle, is it heavy or maybe so light?
The pedals and their groupset? Of course. Different materials would give you different feels. It’s how a better one gives you experience that is beyond your expectation like:
Last but not least! Don’t forget the position and materials of the handlebar and the saddle. The position of those two components, the gap, and the softness of its saddle could affect the bicycler’s pleasure while riding.
From that glance explanation, I would tell you that, if UI is something that you can see visually (or maybe you can touch), then UX is something that you can feel personally.
What I meant is built a product to meet the user’s goal based on its purpose is a must!
