Ficus leptocalama growing next to a rocky stream in the Crocker Range.

This fig can be distinguished from the similar shrub Ficus rubrocuspidata by;

(1) The slightly bullate  (corrugated with sunken side veins) appearance of the leaves.

(2) The figs ripen bright pink not yellow to red
