This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop is said to have remained with a single family from 1960 until it was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2023, following an extended period of storage. Finished in Onyx Black over silver and black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 265ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission. Other equipment includes body-color 14″ wheels, chrome bumpers, polished trim, a heater, a dash-mounted clock, and a factory push-button radio. This Bel Air is now offered by the selling dealer in Kansas with a clean Missouri title.

The Fisher-produced body was finished from the factory in Onyx Black (793A), and the car features a wrap-around windshield and rear window as well as aluminum quarter-panel trim inserts, chrome bumpers, twin hood-mounted wind splits, and a concealed fuel filler door above the left taillight. The seller notes that sections of the body have had touch-up paint applied. The right-front fender is dented, areas of paint and chrome trim are cracked and faded, and other imperfections can be seen in the gallery below.

Body-color 14″ steel wheels wear bright covers and are mounted with Goodyear Power Streak II narrow-whitewall tires that are reported to have been mounted in the late-1970s. A spare wheel fitted with a BFGoodrich tire is housed in the trunk compartment. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The cabin features front and rear bench seats upholstered in silver vinyl and patterned black cloth with gold piping. Additional appointments include a heater, a defroster, an analog clock, rubber floor mats, and a push-button AM radio. The selling dealer reports the carpets and the lower front seat upholstery were replaced under previous ownership. Wear on interior upholstery is visible in the gallery.

A two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 120-mph speedometer with an inset fuel-level gauge along with supplemental gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.

The 265ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor, a black-painted air cleaner, and orange-painted valve covers with bright-finished Chevrolet-script trim. The selling dealer states that repairs in June 2023 to correct an oil leak and exhaust smoke included replacement of the spark plugs and contact breakers, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
