This 1973 Suzuki GT185 Adventurer is powered by an air-cooled 185cc two-stroke parallel twin paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in metallic blue. Equipment includes automatic oil injection, an electric starter, a chrome two-into-two exhaust system, chrome fenders, a two-up seat, and both center and side stands. The seller reportedly acquired the bike from the original owner in April 2022, and subsequent work is said to have included cleaning and synchronizing the carburetors, cleaning and calibrating the oil injection pump, and replacing the tires and battery. This GT185 Adventurer is now offered at no reserve with a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The bodywork is finished in metallic blue with light blue and silver accents, and the bike features a 2.6-gallon fuel tank, chrome fenders, street lighting, a two-up seat, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands. The seller notes corrosion on the fuel tank and frame.
Chrome 18″ wire-spoke wheels were mounted with Michelin City Pro tires under current ownership. Suspension consists of a conventional telescopic fork featuring black gaiters along with dual preload-adjustable chrome shocks connected to the swingarm. Braking is handled by drums at both ends.
The chrome handlebar features dual mirrors and fronts a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles, a handful of which have been ridden by the seller.
The air-cooled 185cc two-stroke parallel twin was factory rated at 21 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque and features a Ram Air cylinder head cover, dual 20mm Mikuni carburetors, a chrome two-into-two exhaust system, and both electric and kick starters. Work since November 2022 reportedly included cleaning and synchronizing the carburetors, cleaning and calibrating the oil injection pump, and replacing the battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-plate wet clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a drive chain.
