This 1985 Kawasaki GPZ900R Ninja was acquired by the seller in 2015, reportedly from the family of its original owner, and it now shows 8k miles. The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled 908cc DOHC inline-four paired with a six-speed transmission and is finished in red and black with silver accents. Equipment includes an aftermarket tinted windscreen, a two-up seat, 16″ front and 18″ rear alloy wheels, triple disc brakes, an air-adjustable fork with Kawasaki’s anti-dive Automatic Variable Damping System (AVDS), and a four-into-two exhaust system. This GPZ900R is now offered at no reserve with a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
The bodywork is finished in red and black with silver accents. Features include a 5.8-gallon fuel tank, a tinted windscreen, rectangular mirrors, rear-set foot controls, and both center and side stands as well as a two-up seat and a passenger grab handle.
Split three-spoke alloy wheels wear 120/80-16″ Pirelli front and 130/80-18″ Metzeler rear tires. Stopping power is provided by dual disc brakes with slotted rotors up front in addition to a single version at the rear. Suspension consists of a conventional air-adjustable AVDS fork up front and a monoshock out back. The brake fluid was changed, the fork was serviced, and the tires were replaced within the last two years, per the seller.
The black handlebars are equipped with bar-end weights, grips, and levers. Instrumentation located ahead of the shrouded upper triple clamp consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 10,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature as well as a row of indicators for the turn signals, high beam, and neutral gear selection. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 500 of which were ridden under current ownership.
The liquid-cooled 908cc DOHC inline-four features a gear-driven counterbalance shaft, a quartet of constant-velocity Keihin 34mm carburetors, an aftermarket fan switch, and a four-into-two exhaust system. Service reported since March 2023 include:

- Coolant Flush
- Rebuilt Petcock
- Carburetors removed, cleaned, adjusted, and synchronized
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-disc wet clutch, a six-speed transmission, and a drive chain.
