This 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750 is a first-generation example that was acquired by the seller in 2019, reportedly from the estate of its original owner. Power is from a 749cc inline-four mated to a six-speed transmission, and equipment includes fully-faired bodywork over an aluminum frame, triple disc brakes, PDF forks, a rear monoshock, and two-up seating as well as modifications such as an aftermarket muffler and foam air filters. Service under current ownership consisted of replacing the tires, rear brake pads and line, spark plugs, and fork seals along with an oil change and a carburetor cleaning. This GSX-R750 is offered at no reserve with a tool kit and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

No Reserve: 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750

The bodywork is finished in white and tri-tone blue and mounted over an aluminum double-cradle perimeter frame. The bike features a stepped two-up seat with a black passenger grab rail, a 5.54-gallon fuel tank that was enlarged for the 1987 model year, and a clear windscreen. The seller notes areas of oxidation, and photos show damage on the right-side bodywork, master cylinder, muffler, and passenger peg.

No Reserve: 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750

Black split-spoke 18″ wheels were mounted with Pirelli Sport Demon tires following the seller’s acquisition. The model’s conventional Posi Damp Fork features an adjustable four-position knob. Replacement fork seals were installed by the seller. A swingarm with a monoshock is equipped in the rear. Braking is from dual disc brakes up front as well as a single version that was fitted with a new line and pads in the rear.

No Reserve: 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750

White gauges include a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 11k-rpm redline. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 4k miles, 400 of which have been ridden by the seller.

No Reserve: 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750

The air-cooled 749cc inline-four features an oil cooler, 29mm flat slide carburetors with foam air filters, and a four-into-one exhaust system with a replacement muffler. An oil and clutch fluid change and a spark plug replacement were carried out under current ownership, along with a carburetor cleaning using replacement parts and seals as needed. Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.

No Reserve: 1987 Suzuki GSX-R750

A tool kit is included in the sale. Photos of the plastic bodywork removed from the bike can be viewed in the gallery below.
