Lot #76942

This 1994 BMW R1100RS was ridden to victory in the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association’s (AHRMA) 1994 Battle of the Legends (BOTL) racing series by American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Hall-of-Fame rider David Aldana. The bike is finished in silver and powered by a 1,085cc opposed twin mated to a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes a drive shaft, a half fairing, alloy wheels, Telelever front suspension, and Paralever rear suspension. The bike was acquired by the seller in May 1995, and modifications in the time since have included the installation of Telefix clip-on handlebars, an Aeroflow windscreen, a Fox Shox front shock, a Corbin seat, a luggage rack, a European-specification cat code plug, and an adjustable carbon monoxide potentiometer. This R1100RS is now offered with period publications, removed factory and BOTL race parts, a copy of a maintenance guide, and a clean Alabama title in the seller’s name.
