This 1996 Yamaha XV1100 Virago is said to have spent time in longterm storage since it was first purchased, and it was acquired by its current owner in February 2023. The bike is finished in black and white and is powered by a 1,063cc V-twin paired with a five-speed transmission and a driveshaft. Equipment includes a two-up seat, an aluminum passenger backrest, painted fenders, cast-alloy wheels, dual Mikuni carburetors, a two-into-two chrome exhaust system, dual front disc brakes, and both center and side stands. Service in preparation for the sale included cleaning the carburetors and replacing the battery. This XV1100 shows 29 miles and is offered at no reserve in Minnesota by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a clean Colorado title in the owner’s name.
The bike is finished in black and white over a black-painted pressed-steel backbone frame. Equipment includes a stepped two-up seat, a backrest, a 4.4-gallon fuel tank, painted fenders, forward foot pegs and controls, chrome engine guards, folding passenger foot pegs, chrome mirrors, and both center and side stands.
Cast-alloy wheels are mounted with older 100/90-19″ front and 140/90-15″ rear Dunlop Qualifier tires. Suspension consists of a leading-axle telescopic fork as well as a pair of fully enclosed chrome shocks which are mounted to the swingarm on the right and the driveshaft enclosure on the left.
The chrome pullback handlebar is rubber-mounted to the upper triple clamp, and it frames a set of white-dial gauges consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and a central bank of indicator lights along with a keyed ignition switch. The five-digit odometer shows 29 miles, a handful of which have been ridden under current ownership.
The air-cooled 1,063cc V-twin features single overhead camshafts, dual 40mm Mikuni carburetors, an electric starter, and a chrome two-into-two exhaust system. Work in preparation for the sale included cleaning the carburetors and replacing the battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-plate wet clutch, a five-speed manual transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft.
