| Foliage: | Bright green wrinkled divided leaves, downy white below. 3-5 egg-shaped leaflets 1-4 cm x 1-3.5 cm, margins lobed to deeply toothed. Stalks prickly. |
| Flowers: | Small deep pink flowers to 15mm wide from October to December, followed by small red berries that resemble rasperries in December to April. |
| General Comments: | A hardy scrambler which can be pruned which encourages increased flowering. Grow under established trees. Excellent habitat plant. Similar to the Blackberry, but not as aggressive. Birds like the fruit. Frost tolerant. |
