Pat Neshek

Neshek is a two-time MLB All-star who played baseball for the Bulldogs from 2000-02. While at Butler, Neshek set a school record with 280 strikeouts during his three-year career. He owns the single-game strikeout record at BU with 18 vs. Detroit (4/15/01). He also owns the single-season strikeout record at BU with 118 in 2001. The right-hander led the Horizon League in strikeouts during the 2001 season and made the all-tournament team during his final year. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the sixth round of the 2002 draft. Neshek's professional career has included stops with the San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies.
