Open in App
Solution

Microsporangia:

  1. It's a substance found in plants. In plants, it is a component of the male reproductive organ. It is the most important component and is in charge of pollen grain formation. It's a microspore-containing sporangial structure.
  2. Microsporangium is a component of a plant's male reproductive organs, which are pollen sacs that produce male gametes in an angiosperm.
  3. A microsporangium appears to have a round outline when seen transversely. It is further complicated by four layers:
    1. Epidermis: It's a single layer that's on top of everything else. The primary role is to keep pollen safe.
    2. Endothecium: It is the layer beneath the epidermis that aids in the thickening or provides thickening.
    3. Middle layers: There are another 2-3 layers to it.
    4. Tapetum: It is the multinucleated deepest layer with thick cytoplasm. The primary function is to provide sustenance.
