L'APSQ est un membre fondateur et très impliqué du Collectif pour un Accès Équitable aux Plans d’Eau Publics, dont l’objectif est d’obtenir une véritable égalité d’accès à l’eau pour tous les québécois et québécoises. Ce Collectif regroupe l’Alliance de l’Industrie Nautique du Québec, la Fédération Québécoise des Chasseurs et des Pêcheurs, Canot Kayak Québec, la Fédération de Voile du Québec et Eau vive Québec.
