It’s happening. According to El Demarsque, Erik Lamela has arrived in Spain to have his medical and complete his transfer to Sevilla. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if the official announcement of his move, along with that of Bryan Gil who is heading the other direction, comes on Monday.

Fabrizio Romano also confirms that this is, in fact, a here-we-go:

If you click on the El Demarsque story, it shows a video of a plain white sedan that supposedly contains Lamela coming to sign his paperwork. I love videos like this because you literally can’t see a dang thing to conclusively prove that it actually is Lamela — it’s just a regular ol’ white car driving into a parking lot. There isn’t really any reason to believe that it ISN’T Lamela in that car... just that it’s a video of a white car and really, if you can’t get conclusive video why post it?

Whatever. What’s important here is that probably within hours Erik Lamela, First of His Name, Rabona-Maker, Lord Shithouse, He with the Sharpened Elbows, the last of the Bale 7 and one of the longest tenured members of the first team, will no longer be a Tottenham Hotspur player.

It is time for it to happen. I am not ready for it to happen. I’m going to need a moment here, y’all.
