Description
English: Ficus virens, the white fig, ranges in size from a small epiphyte to an enormous strangler fig. It usually establishes in the branch axils of trees and particularly on trees with moisture retentive bark or large accumulations of humus in the axils. Ficus virens is establishing in 7th Brigade Park in areas free from fires. Seeds are spread from naturally occurring local trees by birds and bats. Ficus virens is native to tropical and subtropical Australia and southern Asia.
