Description
Deutsch: Erste Buchseite aus der Westgalizische Gerichtsordnung (auch: Gerichtsordnung Westgalizien). Diese war eine erweiterte und verbesserte Fassung der Allgemeinen Gerichtsordnung (AGO) von 1781 und wurden „probeweise“ als „Allgemeine Gerichtsordnung für Westgalizien“ in Westgalizien 1796 eingeführt. Diese Fassung 1796 war jedoch, im Verhältnis zur Endfassung der AGO 1781, um etwa 40 % umfangreicher und inhaltlich auch umfassender (619 Paragraphen in 43 Kapitel).

Die Westgalizische Gerichtsordnung wurde 1815/1816, als Tirol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg und andere Gebiete nach der Niederlage von Napoleon Bonaparte wieder an Österreich gelangten, auch dort eingeführt, während in den anderen Kronländern die AGO weiter galt.

Das Buch wurde 1817 in Wien gedruckt. Aufnahme aus dem Bestand der Vorarlberger Landesbibliothek.
English: First book page from the West Galician code of civil procedure (also: code of civil procedure Westgalicia). This was an expanded and improved version of the General code of civil procedure (AGO) of 1781 and was introduced in a pilot basis as "General code of civil procedure for Western Galicia" in West Galicia in 1796. This version was about 40% more comprehensive (619 paragraphs in 43 chapters) as the final version of the AGO 1781.

In 1815-1816, when Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, and other territories were returned to Austria after the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte, the West Galician code of civil procedure was also introduced to this part of Austria, while the AGO continued to exist in the other Crown countries.
