Increase the performance of MB51 by adding Material document year in MB51 selection

One way to increasing the performance of MB51 and MB59 reports is by using the Material document year in the input screen on MB51 and MB59 reports.

To increase the performance of the MB51. Include the material document Year field (MKPF-MJAHR) in the selction screen of the MB51 through the below mentioned SPRO path.

Configuration Path:

Path for configuration change is SPRO-MM-Inventory management and physical inventory-Reporting-Define field selection for material document list...which is as shown in screen shot one.

In the screen shot shown below select the tick mark of field MKPF-MJAHR for selection.

Click on Save.

After saving the configuration, we will be able to see the material document filed in MB51 input screen as shown below.

Now Do the test for performance:

In this MB51 screen, Give Plant, storage location and One month period in posting date fields.

Test the report with above inputs with Material document year and without Material document year.

See the difference.
