Dear Guru's
I created a measuring point (IK01) with characteristic for Temperature with Degree Celsius upper range limit and lower range limit. I am trying to assign the created measuring point to maintenance plan in IP41. if i make the measuring point as counter it's working. but , i need it as measuring point then it's showing the error - measuring point is not a counter.
According to some blog i activated IMRC0001 , still it's not working. Do i need to implement any code or is it possible through standard?
For Maintenance Plant, Measuring point must be a Counter Measutring point.
In order to do that,
During Measuring Point creation, you have to choose the Counter indicator (Point 😎 for your M.Point.
But, You can also change the indicator in IK02 if there is no active Measuring Documents created for your M.point.
If any documents created, you have reverse all documents, then system will allow you to change counter indicator in IK02.
Then you can create new Measuring documents for those you have reversed.

Hi Thirupathi,
Thanks for your reply , I already tried with Measuring Point as counter indicator . But my PM consultant is asking for measuring point without counter that should be able to assign to maintenance plan Ip41. can we assign measuring point without indicator in IP41.
Thank In Advance
Thanks for everyone , problem resolved - we should not create maintenance plan for measuring point without counter. directly we should assign measuring point to measuring document.

Hi.
If you want to create notification/workorder when temperature goes beyond certain limits then it is not task for Maintenance Plan. Because it is an unplanned event. You should analize Measuring Documents and create suitable notification/workorder (probably it needs abap).
