Cancel confirmation using IW45 but actual cost did not reversed

Hello Experts,

End user confirmed Maintenance order type EU01 (for utilization) and then cancel the confirmation using IW45 transaction code, confirmation got canceled but actual cost did not reversed during this process. This has been done twice. Instead of reverse, the actual cost got double the planed cost.

Screen shots are attached for the reference, Same scenario i tried on Quality server and it is working fine, trying to figure out why it did not worked on PRD. Please suggest some solution. Thanks in advance.

Amit,

Have a look in IW46 to see if there's an entry for your confirmation.

Hi Amit,

This might be a non-valued question.

Did any changes are done in control key relevant for costing ?

Hi Amit,

I have seen similar kind of issue when using CATS for work order confirmation, i remember there is a OSS note for the same.

I dont know whether this is also similar to that.

You can search notes or raise a OSS to sap.

hey, how are you booking time to the order? Is it through IW41 / IW42 or CAT2?

If you are booking time through CATS then I think you have to do the cancellation through CAT9.

Hi Amit,

i assume there should be some code inserted . As per standard cost would be released from actual when ever you do cancellation

Please check if any exit applied
