Hello Experts,

I am making a single cycle plan for 1 month frequency and passed start date 01 Aug 2013 in maintenance plan in IP41 with 90% call horizon. And scheduled it in IP10 and start with same date 01 Aug 2013. But when I saw scheduling list so it show correct preventive orders Plan and call date except one : New start called" it show plan date on 09 Sept 2013 which is first order date ideally it should call date on 29 Aug 2013 and plan date should be 01 Sept. 2013, see below screen shots to understand better.

See in rectangle call date should be 01 Aug 2013 and plan date should be 29 Aug 2013.

Please help .

Cheers

Try changing the Scheduling Indicator to Time - Key Date

Then restart the plan from 01 Aug 2013.

Hello All

Any body would like to reply on above question in Pete reply section ?

Time - Key Date work similar to Factory Calender ?

As when I schedule maintenance plan by factory calender plan date and call date are not on comes as per 30 days frequency but when choose Time - Key Date plan and call date appear correctly as per call horizon.

Cheers

When you Time - Factory Calendar with a 1 month cycle, then the system assumes 30 days. In IP10 the system schedules these 30 days according to the working days in the factory calendar .

When you use Time - Key Date and 1 month cycle the system always keeps the same day (e.g. 1st of the month) irrespective of how many days are in each month.

The call horizon then determines how much earlier the the call (plan date) should be created i.e. the call date.

Hi

As per customer requirement your factory calendar is defined , some holidays is included or excluded , and working days may be different.

hence while scheduling with factory calendar it will not be same as you schedule with time- key date . it is standard only

Hi All -

What is the purpose of providing a Factory Calendar when we select the Time - Key Date scheduling indicator, if the system always schedules on the same day (e.g. 1st of the month) regardless? We'd like to ensure that preventive maintenance orders are scheduled as close to the 1st of every month as possible, but not on a non-working day (Fridays, weekends, holidays) based on our defined Factory Calendar. If we use the Time indicator with a cycle of 1 MON, presumably orders will be planned/scheduled on a non-working day.

Thanks - Andrew

Hi

Since you have attached the factory calendar , the date is calculated based on the working days specified in the calendar

Yes Thyagarajan

Your Answer is correct but Factory calender has impact on first plan and call date only ?

Why not affecting others orders plan date and call date.?

Please help me to understand.

Hi

It will have impact on all the call objets for example take example of call no 2 :

Start of cylcle - 01/08/2013

plan for call 2: as per Standard it will be 60 days ie ( 29/09/13)  but since you have attached the factory calendar it has calculated on 15/10/2013

Even subsequent orders also proposed by considering the Factory Calendar. First Order date is 09.09.2013 & next order date is 15.10.2013. It is not exact of 30 days time as per your frequency.

Wherever in the Maintenance Plans, factory calendar maintained, call & plan dates will be according to factory calendar working days.
