Funds Management FMBBC Not Updating

Hi All,

In Funds Management i have derived rules GL account to Commitment and Cost Center = Fund Center, Fund and Commitment

Requirement is Budget Control for Cost Center Base.

when releasing budget system is not showing in FMRP_RW_BUDCON Report and when i am posting document system is showing error

Assign a budget profile to FM area 6000

earlier they have 1 FM area for 1 Company Code now they are implemented 2nd company code and they want to implement another FM because 2nd company code have budget control only cost center base what is the reason why system is asking budget profile for new FM which was not asking in old FM area please refer below mentioned screen shot of old FM area OF15 T Code

Hi All,

Thanks for your valuable time spend to resolve this issue. I got the solution i.e. i was not maintained (Activate Global Functions for Budgeting) Under Basic Setting so system is checking for Formal Budget. I have maintained it and it is resolved.

Check if you defined a budget profile at OF15 transaction code for your FM Area.

Hi,

as far as I remember Budget profile is used for Former budget only.

And tcodes which you mentioned are for BCS
